Ordering Process Example – A Customer Orders a Drink Item Only

  1. Your customer ​(i)​ opens ROUND on their smartphone, ​(ii)​ browses your menu, and ​(iii)​ orders and pays for the drink they want, specifying whether they would like the product to be served to their table or to the designated collection point.
  2. The order appears in the ​‘Live’​ section of the​ ‘Your Orders’ ​pages, along with the details of the order.
  3. Tap ​‘Accept’​ to notify the customer that their order has been accepted by the venue.
  4. Begin making the order, ensuring that any product customisations – e.g. No Ice, Dash of Coke, etc – are fulfilled.
  5. Once the order has been made, tap on the green ‘traffic light’ to notify your customer that their product is ready for collection/out for delivery. If the order is for table delivery, tapping the green circle automatically moves the order from ‘Live’ to ‘Past’.
FOR COLLECTION​ – When the customer arrives at the collection point, politely ask for their Order Number at the collection point, and ensure that they provide the correct Order Number. ​Make sure to tap ‘Mark as Collected’ as soon as the customer has collected their drink order – this will move the order from ‘Live’ to ‘Past’.

FOR TABLE DELIVERY – Politely ask for their Order Number at the table, and ensure that they provide the correct Order Number (which can be found on the ‘Your Orders’ page).
